Norio Funayama has 16 years of experience in pharmacology and safety research of pharmaceuticals atpharmaceutical companies and universities.

He has also worked as a clinical development manager and product manager in the development division of a pharmaceutical company and has contributed to the launch of several new drugs by utilizing his experience in basic research and clinical development.

Moreover, Mr. Funayama has worked for a global CRO and a Japanese local CRO for 19 years, and has been involved in corporate clinical trials, investigator-initiated clinical trials, and RWE research.

Mr. Funayama considers it his mission to contribute to society by bringing medicines to patients suffering from diseases as quickly as possible and increasing the number of treatment options.

Mr. Funayama is firmly determined to contribute to the structure and efficient implementation of clinical trials.
